We now allow riders to be attached to all Medical Model plans (for example, Accident or Hospital Indemnity,) regardless of contribution structure. Prior to this build, riders could only be attached to 100% employee contribution plans. To accomplish this, we added an option to the rider to either include the rider cost in the contribution calculation, or add the cost after contributions are calculated. This setting is on the rider at both the Company and the Vendor Portal level. When a rider is attached to a Vol Life model plan (e.g. CI), this option is not shown, and the rider will never be included in the contribution calculation.
We no longer show the cost of the rider in the enrollment flow for Medical Model plans. If the rider is optional, the total employee cost increases or decreases when the rider is added or removed. Rider costs still show for Vol Life model plans. In the future, we will be hiding these as well.
Benefit Class is now available in the Voluntary Life Model plan build under Spouse and Child ‘Benefits’. Previously, the Benefit Class identifier was available under the Employee Benefits only. This field is generally used when transmitting files to carriers.
Fixed an issue with Inserting a Link to custom Benefits Overview text on the company level.

Mobile Sensitive Site: We updated the default text color on the Decline button in enrollment flow for better visibility.

Removed the copy button and marketplace option for Template Company’s plan libraries.
Refactored how we use knockout questions to check plan eligibility to increase efficiency.
Colonial Enroller Functionality for Broker Users: We are expanding Colonial Enroller capabilities to Broker Users.
Colonial Life agents no longer need to use separate company-by-company HR enroller credentials to enroll employees.
Broker users will not be able to bridge to Harmony for any Colonial Life plans on / after the weekend of November 18th / 19th without a valid Colonial Life agent ID stored in Employee Navigator.
Users should expect to encounter the following message on the employee’s enrollment page if a bridge attempt is made by a Broker user who does not have a valid Agent ID entered at time of enrollment: "A valid Enroller ID is required to proceed with enrollments. User's Enroller ID is either missing or invalid. Please contact Colonial Life Support for assistance. 1-800-438-6423 (Option 2, 5)".
GA users will need to create enroller accounts within each of their agencies to access this functionality.
HR users no longer need to create separate accounts to enroll themselves in Colonial products.
XSD / XML version 0.15 has replaced version 0.14. The update includes many new additions. Partners should reach out to their EN contact to request the XML definition (XSD) and updated technical guide.
Fixed how documents were attaching to riders, particularly how refresh was behaving. Refresh was removing either / or rider documents or plan documents. It now updates both, both for plans copied down, and for riders attached to broker-built plans.
Removed the “copy” button and the marketplace option for Template Company Plan Libraries to prevent daisy-chaining of Marketplace plans.
Fixed a bug displaying the wrong plan type in “Manage Plan Types”.
Fixed a bug that didn’t allow editing plan types on a plan after editing another plan type on another plan.
Fixed a bug that didn’t allow rates to be entered on a Marketplace plan at the Company level when either/or “Gender Based?” or “Tobacco Based” had been selected on a locked plan at the Marketplace level.
Task Sorting! Added the functionality to sort tasks in the Onboarding module. With the exception of the preconfigured “Getting Started” tasks, users will utilize drag and drop arrows to sort tasks within the same category. Sort cannot be applied to the preconfigured “Getting Started” tasks as they are contingent on the data collected in preceding tasks. See Sorting Onboarding Tasks for additional details.
Updated the order the EN preconfigured Getting Started tasks are presented to employees to improve the flow of data collection.
Updated the display order of tasks on the task category setup page to match the order tasks are presented to employees. Now that "what you see is what you get", users have visibility into the current presentation order and can custom sort tasks if desired.
