During the EDI Training session, we discuss how to download, open and review an 834 file for troubleshooting purposes. Because an 834 file is 1 continuous string of data, reading the standard ASCII file is cumbersome, to say the least. In order to simplify this, we recommend downloading and using Notepad++ to open the file and add carriage returns after each segment.
