PTO Q&A
Q: How will the PTO integrate with Paylocity? Or will they be separate?
A: The PTO module will not be merged with the payroll integration upon initial rollout
Q: Does the Calendar sync with Outlook calendars?
A: Not at this time, but this is something that we are looking into for the future.
Q: Can employees submit time off requests for weekend days?
A: The system currently does not support tracking Time Off on weekends however, this is something that we have on our enhancement list!
Q: Do any of the recent updates allow for Weekends to be submitted for PTO or more than 8 hours in a day?
A: The system does not currently support submitting time off requests for more than 8 hours in a day, however, this is on our enhancement list!
Q: Can a manager review all PTO but would only have to approve for say.. his team 1, and other managers would approve team 2 and 3?
A: Manager approval is supported only for the manager to which the employee is assigned. In this example, Teams 2 and 3 would need to be assigned to the manager who would be approving their time off in order for that manager to have approval authority.
Q: Are you able to request hours other than 4 hours (partial) or 8 hours (full day)?
A: Yes, when the 'Partial day' option is selected, employees can submit requests for any number of hours greater than 0 and less than 8.
Q: As with the ACA release, there were import excel sheets for us to play with and see. Are there PTO ones as well to create a group PTO to demo and go into?
A: There are PTO import templates available on the Import Balances tab of the PTO module. They do not include a demo set of employees, however, you could use the same company and employees used to demo ACA and set up the PTO module for the same group. Q: What if the carryover hours from one year to another have a time limit to use? For example up to 30 hours that must be used within the first 2 months of the new year?
A: This functionality is not currently supported. Hours carried over into the next policy year would be added to the employees balance able to be used at any time. For more information on the Carryover Process, see the article here: Carryover Job
Q: Can employees request to decline their PTO request after it has been approved?
A: Yes, the request can be canceled.
Q: What level of license is required for PTO option?
A: The PTO module is available to Elite and Platinum level licensees.
Q: Can company holidays be scheduled as half days?
A: Company Holidays can only be entered as full days at this time.
AgencyBloc Q&A
Q: Will total monthly premium (based on rates and participation in employee navigator) be sent to Agency Bloc to help calculate expected commissions?
A: We are in discussions with AgencyBloc about potentially sending total monthly premium from Employee Navigator to AgencyBloc.
Q: If rates are not being sent now - is that on the list for a future phase of the integration?
A: We are in discussions with AgencyBloc about potentially sending total monthly premium from Employee Navigator to AgencyBloc.
Q: What were the main factors that allowed you to decide on agency bloc as the only vendor to integrate with for this purpose?
A: AgencyBloc and Employee Navigator offer complimentary products and services to one another. This is our first integration with a comissions tracking system.
Q: Are there any plans for employee information to sync to AgencyBloc (for tracking customer service issues)?
A: Not at this time
Q: Is Agency Bloc meant to completely replace any existing commission tracking/system that we use?

Q: Will this integrate from agency bloc to navigator for us who have that as our Agency management system?
A: The integration only sends data FROM Employee Navigator TO AgencyBloc.
Q: What Employee Navigator level is required to use AgencyBloc Integration? is it available at the Enhanced level?
A: The AgencyBloc integration is available at all License Levels
Q: Do you have the ability to track new business and retention?
A: Yes - AgencyBloc can track new business, retention and renwals. We suggest following up directlly with AgencyBloc for more detail on this: www.agencybloc.com
Q: Can you track Bonuses?
A: Yes, the AgencyBloc system can support multple revenue types including comissions, overrides, bonus, etc.
Q: Will Agency Bloc have information for the marketing process? like the info for RFPs
A: Yes
Q: Is there a reason why rates would not feed over for cross company reporting?
A: We are in discussions with AgencyBloc about potentially sending total monthly premium from Employee Navigator to AgencyBloc.
Q: Does this track commissions for producers for a client who is not using navigator?
A: Clients not using Employee Navigator may still be entered into Employee Navigator and synched to AgencyBloc, or those clients may be entered directly into AgencyBloc.
