Topic: Pending New Hire Enrollment *New Feature*
Where: Pending Options for Employee New Hire Enrollment configured on company Setup, Employee Options, and then the Enrollment sub-tab
Details: Added support for two additional setup configurations which can be used to require employees to complete the entire new hire enrollment process before any of their enrollments will be activated.
Pending Until All Complete:
Employee enrollments will be in a “pending” state until the employee selects “Agree and Complete” on the enrollment summary. This could be used to prevent an employee from enrolling in only one plan, when they are eligible to enroll in several plans.
Employees with pending enrollments are listed on the Employees tab, in in the Recent Activity section.
Pending Until HR Approves:
Employee enrollments will be in a “pending” state until the employee selects “Agree and Complete” on the enrollment summary AND HR approves the enrollments. This could be used when HR wants to enforce additional requirements are completed by the employee, such as beneficiary designations, etc.
Employees with enrollments pending HR approval are listed on the Company home page, in the Urgent Action Required Section. Add a wall event notification for HR Tasks to receive an email when this HR task is created.
Topic: Obsolete Report Changes
Where: From the company home page, and then select the Reports tab
Details: We removed the link for the Plan Enrollment and Cafeteria Enrollment Reports. Both reports have been inactivated for many months, and we have been directing users to the new reports we created to replace these two reports. We also inactivated the Payroll Deductions, Employee Cost Difference, and Dependent Coverage Changes report. When accessed, each report will offer a link to the replacement report.
Topic: Broker Cross-Company Analytics
Where: On broker home page, the Cross-Company Analytics section in the lower right
Details: We removed the automatic loading of the default analytic report when the page loads. We also added a “No Elections” analytic report, which displays employee who are eligible for enrollment, but have not started the enrollment process. This is the same list we report on the company home page in the “Employees eligible for benefits with no elections.”
Topic: Date Validator on Date of Birth
Where: Add new employee, Employee Profile, and Dependent
Details: We added a Date of Birth validator to ensure future dates and dates > 112 years are not entered. This should prevent issues with enrollment when trying to enroll a person in an age-based plan when date of birth has been mistyped. We did not add validation to import at this time.
Topic: Medical Rate Validator
Where: On medical model plans, composite rates
Details: Added validator on medical rates to prevent a rate larger than $999,000.
