Topic: Required Supplemental Enrollment Tasks
Where: Options configured on the plan setup, enrollment tasks displayed in the enrollment list
Details: The 5 supplemental tasks (Beneficiary, Coordination of Benefits, Evidence of Insurability, Primary Care Physician, and Prior Coverage) now display on a separate enrollment page that employee lands on during the enrollment process, and can be optionally configured as ‘required.’ Required tasks will prevent employee from selecting ‘Agree & Complete’ until enrollment task is completed.
Plan setup now has two configuration options: ‘Capture/Display’ or ‘Capture/Display & Require’. Both will display in enrollment when applicable, but the ‘Capture/Display & Require’ will prevent employee from selecting ‘Agree and Complete’ until required task is completed. Evidence of Insurability is the only exception, where ‘Require’ is not available since the completion of the task occurs at the carrier level.
Topic: W-2 Reporting
Where: From the Reports tab, in the Benefits Reports section a new report called “W-2 Summary’
Details: The Affordable Care Act requires employers to report the cost of coverage under employer-sponsored group health plans on Form W-2. We have created a report which allows flexibility to select the tax year, and applicable plans to include in the calculation.
Employee Navigator uses a default carrier wash rule of the 15th. When a new hire’s coverage effective date is on or before the 15th of a given month, the calculation includes that premium for the month. For terminations, if the employee coverage end date is on or before the 15th, the premium is excluded from the calculation for the month. You may adjust the wash rules under plan setup, wash rules to fine tune the calculation on this report.

Topic: Termination Logic
Where: On employment termination
Details: Changed the logic on ending enrollments calculation when calculated end date is more than 1 day prior to the coverage start date, use the coverage start date. This change allows consistency in reporting “nulled” coverage, which is coverage that ends before it begins.

Topic: Compare ACA Costs
Where: From the medical enrollment page, Compare Costs or Details options
Details: Made a change to display the correct Family coverage costs for ACA rated plans. These views list the cost of plans options available to the employee. Since ACA is based on each enrolled member, these views make an assumption based on all eligible family members electing coverage.
