We have replaced the class change date with a new layer of software that detects changes to eligibility, enrolled benefits, or even a new feature to capture a change date to provide to a carrier based on employee demographic changes.

Details: Added support to evaluate employee zip codes that were using zip codes + 4 digit postal code in our rules engine. Rules could be configured based on ranges of zip codes. Prior to this fix, if employee had a zip + 4, they wouldn’t be evaluated

Details: The maximum dependent age is no longer hard-coded at age 18 to support carriers that offer dental ACA plans up to age 21.
Topic: Activating Pending Enrollments
Where: From Company home page, activate pending new hire enrollments
Details: When approving non-life event pending enrollments, if a current record exists, we are now setting the end dates prior to changing the enrollment to prior. Life event records were already doing this, so this change just extends the existing logic to the remaining pending enrollment approvals.

Where: OE effective date
Details: Fixed an issue with the effective date on an OE when a plan is in OE but the plan is not marked as active. The effective date is getting set to the enrolled date instead of the OE effective date. As a side note, there is no reason not to activate a plan prior to OE. This issue would not have occurred on active plans in OE.

Details: Fixed the age calculation when using the New Hire Rates Based on Prior Policy Anniversary.

Details: Added life event date limitations of +/- 30 days from today to prevent users from making ineligible life event changes. This makes employee drop life events consistent with the other life events.
