This tool allows the import of the low plan cost which can be used to insert the employee only monthly coverage cost instead of using the system calculation.
When would this tool be needed?
You would use this tool if the system cannot accurately calculate the cost of coverage. An example of this is if an employee pays 9.5% of their monthly salary for their medical plan. This tool would need to be used to import that cost.
Import Low Cost
The Import Low Cost Plan Cost Template is located at Home>>>ACA>>>Import Low Cost Plan Cost and includes the following fields:
- Employee Social Security Number
- First Name
- Last Name
- Low Cost Plan Cost
After the monthly cost of coverage is imported, the system is using this value to perform the standard code calculations to determine offer and affordability
**Tip**Importing a blank for a month will remove the imported cost and revert back to the system generated calculation.**
